Nerf Stampede
The Nerf Stampede is the Nerf gun all the kids are talking about. Young kids love playing with the Nerf Stampede. I got this gun for my son and he loves it. He is 8 so of course he thinks this is the coolest Nerf gun ever. I am 42 and I wish I had a Nerf gun like this when I was his age. In fact I liked the gun so much that i went online to Amazon and ordered 2 more (1 for me and the other for my wife.) We spend hours with our son outside having huge Nerf wars. Sometimes the neighbors kids join in. My son feels like the Nerf war king when he blasts the neighbors kids with 3 darts a second. Sometimes as an adult its hard to spend time with your kids and do things they enjoy but after buying the Nerf Stampede I am able to spend allot more quality time with my fast growing little boy. Whenever my son seems down or had a bad day at school, My wife and I sneak around and “sabotage” him with darts. He immediately gets a huge grin on his face and runs to get his Nerf Stampede. We then let him sneak up and shoot us. This always seems to brighten up his day. If your a parent you know that when your kid is happy you are happy. It was for all these reasons that I decided to write this Nerf Stampede review. Now enough with all that lets talk about the gun!
Nerf Stampede Review
We own an abundance of Nerf guns from The Longshot (my second favorite) to some old Nerf-type guns I had as a kid. The Stampede is by far the best Nerf gun around. It is the first full automatic Nerf clip blaster. It has a pop out bi-pod that doubles as a handle. It has a shield that pops on and off very easily. It also comes with 3 Extended Clips and 1 Quick reload clip and 60 darts.

Nerf Stampede Review
Full Auto
The Nerf Stampede ECS is a Fully automatic Nerf rifle. When they say full auto they mean it. This thing fires about 3 bullets per second! That is crazy fast for a Nerf gun. The Stampede Nerf fires so fast that it can fire 4 darts before the first dart reaches its target. This is by far the fastest shooting Nerf-type gun I have ever fired. You really just have to shoot the gun to fully realize just how fun and fast it can be.
Long Range
Most Nerf guns have a very short range. Those lite foam darts don’t seem to go very far or very strait. When it comes to range the Nerf Stampede takes the cake. Out of the 20 or so Nerf guns I have owned in my lifetime only 2 are good enough to be called “long range”. The Nerf Stampede and the Nerf Longshot. The Long shot can shoot slightly farther than the Stampede but only by a few feet. The Longshot must be pumped between each shot. When it comes to long range accuracy the Nerf Stampede is the obvious winner. The long shot is not nearly as accurate as the Stampede. In fact No Nerf Gun is as accurate as the Stampede.
Pop-Out Bi-pod
The Stampede Nerf Gun has a Pop-Out bi-pod that also doubles as a handle. When I first saw the handle I thought I wouldn’t like it. I thought it would only get in the way. With the 6 adjustable tactical rails you can put the handle/bi-pod wherever is most comfortable for you or your child. I didn’t think I would use the Bi pod much but I found that it helps stabilize the gun and makes it incredibly accurate. The bi pod just pops out with a push of a button and is just as easy to pop right back into place, out of the way.
Removable Shield
At first glance the Shield on the Nerf Stampede looks stupid. It looks like it would just get in the way and block your site. After putting the shield on I loved it. Alot of people aim for your chest and if you are holding the gun you can easily deflect any oncoming fire. This makes you unstoppable once the Nerf wars start. The shield is so amazing it almost gives you and unfair advantage on everyone around you. If the Full auto and long range wasn’t enough to give you such a advantage

When we first bought the Nerf Stampede for our son we went around the all the local toy stores (walmart, target, toys r us, KB Toys) looking for the lowest price. We eventually bought one at walmart (I don’t think walmart sells them anymore.) After taking our first Nerf Stampede home I fell in love with it. So i checked online to see if I could find it cheaper online. I looked at all the major websites (google shopping, yahoo, amazon, eBay, ect) and I was very surprised to find that Amazon.com had the best deal by far. I bought 2 from them and received very fast shipping (2 days) Highly Recommended
